Misty Klapper, President and CEO
Misty Klapper is a Registered Professional Reporter (RPR), Certified Merit Reporter, (CMR), Certified Realtime Reporter, (CRR) and a Realtime Systems Administrator, and a member in good standing of Ethics First. She also served as Vice President of the Greater Washington Shorthand Reporters Association.
Misty has been a guest speaker at the Virginia Bar Association’s Annual Meeting in Richmond and has spoken at a number of court reporting schools. She has mentored or trained many fledgling court reporters, as well as court videographers.
When she is not immersed in providing a high level of personal attention to her court reporting company clients Misty is a busy mom with two daughters, and is active in Girl Scouts and school activities. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, playing piano, Broadway theater, playing poker and baking (see: “love of cookies et al.”).
